The NC club officially announced the recruitment of Riley on the 1st. The terms of the contract are a total of $900,000, including a down payment of $130,000, an annual salary of $520,000, and incentives of $250,000.
Riley, who was born in 1996 and is 28 years old this year, is a right-hander from Evansville, Indiana, USA, with a height of 1m93kg and a weight of 95kg. He throws up to 159 kilometers (average 151-154 kilometers) of fastballs and curves, cutters, sliders, and changeups. Based on a powerful fastball, he competes with batters and is evaluated as an advantage in his strikeout ability.
Riley began his professional career in 2018 by being drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 11th round. In five seasons in the minor leagues, he played 108 games (82 starts) with a 19-25 record with a 4.68 ERA.
Lim Sun-nam, NC's general manager, said, `Lily is a promising player for the Chicago Cubs and has a strong desire to win and strike out on the mound. He is a power pitcher who can overwhelm batters based on strong fastballs and curves, and is a pitcher with good strikeout ability enough to score 353 strikeouts in 365 innings in the minor league. I look forward to a big role in NC's mound in 25 seasons."

I'm looking forward to experiencing fan base baseball and the energy that comes from the stadiums in each city.
