On the 16th, Suwon coach Byun Sung-hwan, an active leader, made a surprise attendance at the '2014 KFA Judgment Conference 2024', a place to settle a year of referees and promote the future at Dongdaemun Square Seoul in JW Marriott, Seoul. Director Byun, who has been leading Suwon since 2023, was invited to the panel of 'Panel Talk, Leader Trend Story' and expressed his thoughts on the referee, who is considered the object of 'Stranger and Coexistence', and his past misjudgment with a unique way of speaking. Coach Byun said, `The K-League has become stronger and upgraded from the past. There will be a technical part at the center, but the league has reached a high level with referees. The referee will proceed with the game so that each club can show what they have prepared on the field. If the referee breaks the rhythm, he cannot play according to the game plan he prepared. You have to balance it on both sides to become an Asian tower."

Coach Byun said, `We have difficulty forming a squad next year. A foreign player wants to come to Suwon. He said he would pay a lot of money, but the player's wife said she wouldn't come to Korea, and he said, `I think the K-League should be a league that everyone wants to come, and for that to happen, both technology and refereeing should be developed.' Coach Byun, who is in his second year as a professional coach, said "I have accumulated my own soccer philosophy while serving as a full-time leader of the association for seven years. There's a basic guide to the football I want "The reason I didn't get promoted last season was because I wasn't good enough. I will prepare well this year and help him get promoted next year."

Coach Byun sends a short message in the locker room to a question that can be somewhat sensitive: "'Do you tell the players about the referee before the game?' It's like, 'This referee prefers this operation, so play accordingly. There's no reason to focus on the referee, but I think I'm looking for some reason to rationalize it." Coach Byun, who is sensitive to situations that directly lead to goals such as offside and penalties during the game, confessed that he was "like that before, and still cares about those two situations now." Almost all leaders are likely to agree with this. During the interview 'controversial misjudgment incident' was naturally on the topic. Coach Byun led the Korean U-17 national team in July last year to the '2023 U-17 Asian Cup'. South Korea, which reached the final with difficulty, was disadvantaged by the decision in the final against Japan, and one person was sent off in the first half, and the foul contributed the winning goal. In the second half, a penalty was suspected, but the whistle did not go off. At the level of the association, they made an official complaint to the Asian Football Confederation, but it was not accepted, and they eventually lost 0-3 and shed tears. Coach Byun said, `We played six games from qualifying to the final. The Thai referee in charge of the final was in charge of four of Japan's six games. Three games were referees and one game was waiting," he said, pointing out that there was a problem with the referee's allocation itself. Then "I think the situation in the second half was a clear PK. Even if the VAR had been activated, the decision would not have changed."

On the other hand, the referee conference, titled `Standing on the side of the road, the era of unfamiliarity and coexistence: Every boundary blooms,' consisted of the story of handball rules by FIFA instructor Sukidin Bin Maud Saleh, the story of major change game rules by former KFA instructor Yoo Byung-sup, the story of physical fitness trends by AFC Physical Fitness Corporation Choi Young-in, the story of professional referee speech moving-free, and the story of the referee management team manager's nurturing of excellent judges at a low age. Lecturer Sukidin "Not all handball fouls just because the ball hit the hand. The defender and the attacker are in different positions. "If the defender blocks the ball flying first, and the ball jumps up and hits the defender's hand, it's not handball. Fans would say it was a clear handball, but the players involved were wronged. Therefore, the referee needs to observe it carefully" he advised. Instructor Choi explained that referees are exposed to leg injuries during the World Cup finals and that careful injury management is usually needed. In the second part of the afternoon, the inauguration ceremony of the Korea Professional Football Judgment Council was held. The Korea Professional Football Judgment Council (Chairman Lee Dong-joon) was launched in March to expand the base of K-League referees, communicate with players and fans, and engage in social contribution activities.
