Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola and Liverpool fans had a war of nerves. Liverpool fans mocked Guardiola for being replaced. Guardiola raised his six fingers and reminded him that he is a six-time Premier League-winning manager.

Manchester City lost 0-2 to Liverpool in the 13th round of the 2023-2024 Premier League at Anfield, Liverpool, England on the 2nd (Korea time).

Manchester City have recently accepted a disastrous report card of one draw and six losses in seven official matches.

It is the fourth consecutive victory in the Premier League. It's down to fifth place. The point gap with the leading Liverpool widened to 11 points.

Liverpool consolidated its leading dominance by accumulating 11 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss with 34 points. The difference with second-place Arsenal is nine points.

Around the 44th minute of the second half, when Liverpool's victory became clear, slogans mocking Guardiola rang out in Anfield.

"I'm going to be cut tomorrow morning. 너는 내일 아침 잘려(Sacked in the morning, you're getting sacked in the morning)."

British broadcaster BBC reported that the slogan rang out in Anfield in the 89th minute, when Liverpool beat its rival Man City by 11 points and was on the verge of winning. It was a cry for Guardiola, who has won six Premier League titles since he took the helm of Manchester City in 2016.

The BBC responded with a smile: 'Guardiola responded with a smile in the technical area. I held one hand and one finger in my pocket. Man City have marked the championship title under his command.

Guardiola's Man City have won six of the last seven years. Liverpool has won once in the past 30 years.

Guardiola said "I didn't expect this to happen at Anfield. I didn't know Liverpool people would be like this, but it's okay. This is part of the game. I completely understand. We fought an amazing battle together. I respect them."

It is the first time in 16 years that Manchester City has won four consecutive league titles since August 2008.

The BBC said 'Guardiola has brought a lot of joy and success to Manchester City over the past eight years. But now, he pointed out that he has fallen into an unprecedented seven-game winless swamp.

Guardiola said "Every club wants me to be fired. It's been like that since the match against Brighton,' he said, adding that it was not the first time the opposing team called for a hard call.

The BBC introduced his achievements, saying, `Guardiola led Manchester City to one Champions League, two FA Cups, four EFL Cups, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup.

Jamie Carragher, a football expert, said, `Now Manchester City can't be undone. There is no possibility of Manchester City winning the championship."

Manchester City native Micah Ricciaz "I don't want to say the times are over. It's obviously a difficult time, but they'll find a way back."

Guardiola said "All the teams are doing well. We cannot afford it now. First, we need to find a solution. These players are the ones who gave me the best moments of my life. All I can do is try to find a solution. We will make an appropriate decision on what is needed for the club."
