Suwon FC has agreed to extend the contract at the same time with men's team coach Kim Eun-joong and women's team coach Park Gil-young as they wrapped up the 2024 season with the best performance.

Head coach Kim and head coach Park proved their outstanding leadership by leading the club's all-time best performance in the K League 1 and WK League in 2024, respectively.

Kim, a former coach of the under-20 national team and the first coach of the Suwon FC men's team at the end of last year, received enthusiastic love and support from K-League fans under the nickname 'Sharp Ball'. Head coach Kim joined Suwon FC, which fought the relegation war in the 2023 season, leading the harmony of veterans and young players with hardness that is not like a beginner professional coach, targeting strong teams with customized tactics, strategies, and excellent crisis response ability, and creating a team that is not likely to lose. Along with advancing to the top split, he scored 53 points, the highest ever, ranking fifth in the league (15 wins, 8 draws and 15 losses). As he proved his ability from the first season, his name was on the list of other teams' recruitment after the end of the season, but manager Kim asked the club for an extension contract and decided to stay after much consideration. Suwon FC owner Lee Jae-joon and general manager Choi Soon-ho acknowledged the `best performance ever.' They decided to extend the existing contract, which was until 2025, by one more year and accompany them until 2026.
