SSG Landers (CEO Kim Jae-seop, hereinafter SSG) appointed Choo Shin-soo as the team's assistant manager on the 27th (Friday).
SSG paid attention to Choo Shin-soo's passion for baseball and career. In addition, he gave sincere advice to the team and the front desk for the development of the first and second teams, as well as an altruistic attitude to share his success experience and know-how in the Major League. With his leading leadership, he has strong trust in the team and excellent communication skills. Above all, Choo Shin-soo was appointed as an assistant to the owner of the team, judging that he could contribute to strengthening the team's power by utilizing the assets he has accumulated so far as he has a human network with various working-level officials such as U.S. Major League clubs, fronts, and coaches.
In addition, the club expects Choo Shin-soo to help grow by transplanting baseball DNA that has been successful in the Major League to Futures players, and strengthen the first-team depth by continuously finding promising players to contribute to SSG Landers' position as a strong team.
Choo Shin-soo's assistant has also been agonizing over various career paths since his retirement, and after hard work, he accepted the club's offer to start his second baseball life as the front desk, and decided not to receive compensation related to his position in the process of consultation with the club.
